Ground Rules and Regulations
1. No blocking the arena, entrance, or roads of the club grounds with trucks, cars, horses, or horse trailers at any time. No parking in front of the building during fun shows and trail rides. Parking around the building or in front of the building is reserved for meeting nights only.
2. No blocking the gravel roads
3. No tying horses to trees for any reason
4. All children must be under adult supervision at all times
5. All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. This rule applies to anytime your dog accompanies you to the club grounds.
6. No racing on the club grounds or on the road in front of the club grounds.
7. Members are responsible for their guests and their actions
8. Everyone is responsible for cleaning up their campsite where you park, camp, and stall/tie.
9. No glass containers in the arena
10. Anyone parking or camping on club property must be accompanied by a member in good standing.
11. No using any members' campsite without permission from the campsite assignee.
12. No drinking or vulgar language
13. Any member or their guest may use the kitchen or building and should clean appliances, tables, sweep floor, and dispose of any trash after their use.
14. Electric use is located behind and beside the clubhouse in the open camping area, with eight receptacles. Trailer hook up is on a first come first serve basis. Do not run extension cords where horses walk over them. Daily fee is $5.00
15. We have eight stalls located in the open camping area beside and behind the clubhouse. You use them, you clean them. You are responsible for any damage your horses might cause. Daily fee is $3.00 per day/per stall
16. The shower house is for use by club members and their guests, and is located behind the clubhouse. The key is hanging inside the clubhouse by the front door. If you use it, you clean it. Use of the shower house is free of charge.
17. Ice is for sale in the deep freezer inside of the clubhouse for $3.00 per bag
18. Trailers, campers, etc may not left on the club grounds for more than 2 weeks without being moved. This includes members' campsites.
Pekin Saddle Club is on the honor system with the stalls, electricity, and ice so please put your money in the clubhouse deposit box. Envelopes are provided. Write on the envelope your name, the amount of money, and what you are paying the money for on the outside of the envelope.
